Setting up your Internet Mail Account for Windows 98
Please Note: These Email Setup pages are continued from the Internet Connection Wizard you can either access the Email settings through this wizard or by clicking in outlook, or outlook express Tools then Options.
Select the Yes Bullet point with the mouse
Now Click Next.
Now you need to type a name in, this name is what is displayed on the
recipients screen every time you send an email. We suggest you use your
full name or your surname. And click Next
Now you need to input your email address, this is generated from your
username@kiwilink.co.nz and click next
Now we need to type the names of the servers make sure the:
Incoming mail server is a POP3 server
The incoming mail POP3 server is mail.kiwilink.co.nz
The outgoing mail SMTP server is mail.kiwilink.co.nz and click Next.
Now you need to type your user name and logon in (It's the same as your login name at Kiwilink)
Now you need to type your password box (It's the same as your password at Kiwilink)
Make sure you have the Remember password box checked
SPA or secure password authentication should be unticked
and click Next.
You have now completed the internet and mail setup, now we recommend you fine tune your connection.
